WHO IS THE TTA?
The Travel Trust Association is a travel trade association whose members consist of Travel Agents, Tour Operators and Travel Organisers. The TTA exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100% financial protection and has been doing so for over fifteen years.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF A COMPANY IS A MEMBER OF THE TTA?
It means that you can book your holiday secure in the knowledge that the TTA will protect you in the unlikely event of a member becoming insolvent. Should a member of the TTA cease trading, the TTA will liase with suppliers to ensure that your holiday goes ahead unaffected. If for any reason this is not possible, they will administer a claim for a refund of the money that you have paid.
HOW DOES THE TTA PROVIDE 100% FINANCIAL PROTECTION?
The money that you pay for your holiday is deposited into a Trust Account. Your money remains in the Trust Account until you have completed your holiday and is controlled by an appointed Trustee who is either a banker, chartered or certified accountant or a solicitor. In addition to your money being held in trust, the TTA also guarantee the financial obligation of its Members, up to a maximum of £11,000 for any one passenger. When you make a booking, you will be supplied with a guarantee certificate – you can see the terms of this cover on the TTA website www.traveltrust.co.uk. It is the combination of the Trust Account and the guarantee that ensures all of the money which you have paid is safely protected.

New ATOL Certificate
In line with new legislation from the 1st October 2012, Supreme Breaks will issue an ATOL certificate to every customer that buys an ATOL protected product, whether a package Holiday, Flight-Plus or flight only. We recommend that you take this with you on your trip.
ATOL is the only scheme that protects you from losing money or becoming stranded abroad if your travel company collapses. It stands for Air Travel Organiser’s Licence and is backed by the UK Government. The certificate which contains details of your ATOL protection will be sent along with your confirmation .
